• See an animal you’re interested in on our website, SavourLife Adoption Portal or social media? Follow the link to their application form and complete it with as much detail as possible.
• Your application will be reviewed by the animal’s foster carer and our Adoption Coordinator. If you’re a suitable match, you’ll be invited to a meet and greet.
• Attend the meet & greet: and meet the animal, chat with our team and, if it’s the right fit for everyone, we’ll guide you through the final steps to bring your new family member home.

We operate through a network of private foster homes and do not have a public facility or shelter that you can visit. Our animals can be viewed on our website or Facebook page. If you’re interested in an animal, you can submit an adoption application and, if you’re considered a suitable match, we’ll arrange a meet and greet with their foster carer. 

The animals in our care come from a range of circumstances. They may be rescued from Victorian or New South Wales pounds, surrendered by their owners, or come to us through our Last Litter Program, which helps prevent unwanted litters and supports owners to do the right thing for their pets. Whatever their circumstances, we’re committed to giving every animal the care, love and second chance they deserve. 

When an animal comes into our care, they are placed with an experienced foster carer where they receive a safe, loving home and the individual care they need. We assess their health and temperament, arrange any necessary veterinary treatment, vaccinations, desexing and microchipping, and give them time to settle and feel safe. Once they are ready, we begin the search for their forever home and carefully match them with a suitable family. Our goal is to give every animal the best possible chance at a happy, healthy future.

Foster carers provide a safe, loving home for an animal while they await their forever family. We provide support, guidance and the essentials you need to care for your foster animal. Whether you can foster for a few weeks or longer, you can make a life-changing difference.
