At Ollie’s Legacy Incorporated, we believe every animal deserves a safe place to call home, a second chance and the opportunity to be loved.
Based in Central Victoria, we are a small but passionate team of dedicated volunteers committed to making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
Our journey began in 2018 as Happy Paws Animal Rescue, and since then, we have rescued and rehomed hundreds of cats and dogs, helping them find loving families and brighter futures.
As our rescue grew, so did our vision. We became Ollie’s Legacy Incorporated, allowing us to expand our reach and help even more animals. Our name honours the memory of a beautiful soul, Ollie, whose legacy continues to inspire everything we do.
In June 2023, Ollie’s Legacy became a registered charity, followed by the granting of Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status in March 2024. These milestones have strengthened our organisation and created greater opportunities to build a sustainable future for the animals who need us most.
With the support of our wonderful community, volunteers, foster carers and donors, we can continue giving animals the care, compassion and second chances they deserve.
We’ve come a long way since 2018, but our journey is far from over. There are still so many lives waiting to be changed — and we’ll be here to help them, one paw at a time.
